Garden Pubs, Bar Rooms and Pub Sheds
Garden Pubs, Bar Rooms and Pub Sheds
Build your very own beer garden on the back doorstep with one of our fantastic pub sheds or garden bar buildings. Each of the garden bar shed buildings in this range can be used as private or social drinking rooms in the comfort of your garden, thanks to their quality timber, warm interiors, and protection from the weather.
Serve drinks to your guests over the garden bar table to really give your new building that outdoor pub feeling.
Already got a garden room? Simply add our BillyOh Nightjar garden bar inside to create your indoor serving and drinking area.
Thanks to the naturally insulating qualities of thick wood, these outdoor pub buildings stay warm longer than your average shed. Keep the good times going all year round by choosing one of the fully insulated garden rooms, which offer added comfort through winter.
Enjoy your favourite drinks in a safer (and cheaper) environment with a home pub and garden furniture to suit!

Our Garden Bar Sheds & Outdoor Pubs
Not sure which product to pick? Let us help you.
Some of the buildings above are log cabins. Constructed log by log, these make excellent garden bar sheds due to their heavy duty timber. They also offer decent insulation, especially if you upgrade them to 28mm or 44mm thickness (and don’t forget the floor and roof upgrade options).
Alternatively, some of these options are from our insulated range. These go above and beyond log cabins when it comes to maintaining a good temperature inside. While you might need to add a little heating in the coldest times of year, they are still the most comfortable types of garden buildings you can relax in.

Do I need planning permission for a garden pub?
You probably don’t need planning permission to set up a bar in your own garden. As long as it’s for your own private use and within the boundaries of your property, a garden bar doesn’t follow any extra rules compared to a normal garden shed. So long as you fall within the building size limits, you will be fine. For advice on this, check out our guide to planning permission for garden rooms.
However, you should not attempt to sell drinks as a business from your garden pub shed. That probably would require planning permission (not to mention alcohol licensing, health and safety, and everything else that comes with running a hospitality venue).
Do I Need to Maintain my Home Bar?
Beyond cleaning up the odd dropped pint or glass of wine, some amount of maintenance will be required on a wooden building to ensure it stays in top condition. Reapply layers of wood paint or wood treatment when needed to ensure the exterior is protected, and cover or mask any gaps or holes that appear around windows or fittings.
Fortunately, if you buy one of our wooden buildings, it’ll come with a 10-year protective guarantee. This guarantee protects against the primary sources of wood deterioration: rot, fungal decay and insect infestation. Plus, for even more protection, you can get your building pressure treated - which extends to longevity of the timber - and is accompanied by a 15-year guarantee.
Do You Offer Delivery?
You sit back and have a pint - we’ll get your building to you safe and sound! Delivery is available on all our buildings across the mainland UK, with free delivery available for most postcodes in England and Wales. Our buildings are made to be assembled by you with just a couple of tools, although we don’t recommend having a drink until it’s all finished!
