An apex shed refers to the style of roof. An apex shed roof is made from two sloping panels that fall away to either side of the door (or face) of the shed and meet at their highest point in the middle. Apex sheds are great for those who need extra headroom to work or store items and who prefer a traditional aesthetic.



Apex, reverse apex, and pent roof sheds are all built to allow for sufficient water runoff to keep your shed and its contents dry and protected against rot and decay for years to come. The biggest difference between an apex and pent roof is stylistic. A pent roof may work better for those who want a more modern aesthetic or who aren’t bothered by the highest point of the shed being at the front.



Our BillyOh apex sheds come supplied with felt. Simply affix with nails to each sloping panel of the apex, leaving a 50mm overhang. Then, take a thin strip to overlap each panel by 150mm and cover the apex at its highest point along the length of the shed. Affix with nails and felt adhesive to a tight seal.
