Advantages of a lean-to shed
Lean-to garden sheds are named for the way that they appear to lean to one side, as they are traditionally placed against the wall of another building, although our models can also function standalone. With all the benefits of a thin shed, these leaning shed options are optimised for compact, convenient storage.
Our lean-to sheds are available in heavy-duty plastic and in galvanised steel. If you are looking for a wooden shed, we have a wide range of options in other shapes, but not lean-to. Wooden lean-to sheds can only be built with 3 sides and must be affixed to another building, due to the need for airflow to reach all walls, and we only provide complete buildings.
However, some of our log cabins can be purchased with a wooden lean-to storage add-on, using heavy duty log timber.
What can you do with a lean-to garden shed?
Lean-to sheds are best suited for basic storage. Thousands of gardeners use these types of garden shed to organise and secure their garden tools, as well as foldable garden furniture.
If your shed is at the side of your house, you might also use it for spare car parts, as bike storage, or as a shelter for parcel deliveries.
Due to their low ceilings and small overall size, lean-to sheds are not well suited for doing DIY tasks or other work inside them. For that kind of building, look no further than our workshop sheds.
