Depending on the box you buy, this means you can keep anything from gardening materials to small garden toys, or even folding garden furniture.

One popular function is to use an outdoor box as a place to store cushions. The box shape provides a wealth of space to store outdoor furniture cushions without pressing them down or ruining their shape. They’re then easily accessible when you need them, and they won’t take up valuable space indoors either.

What you store depends on the size of the box you acquire. A larger box can be used to store large pieces of garden equipment such as lawnmowers, whereas a smaller one is better suited to cushion or tool storage. 

Are Our Boxes Waterproof?

Each storage box we offer is built to be used outdoors all year round - which also means they’re completely waterproof. While our boxes of different materials are waterproofed in different ways, they all keep water out and keep their contents safe and sound.

Our plastic and metal boxes have exterior materials that are naturally resistant to water. Water bounces off the surface and is drained away from the unit, meaning there are no avenues for it to seep inside and soak your possessions. Our wooden units are much the same, with overlap and tongue and groove cladding options providing a tight seal to the exterior of the boxes. We do recommend treating our wooden units with timber stain and paint to increase weather resistance and longevity. For extra peace of mind, all tongue and groove units come with a 10-year protective guarantee.
